Could this be the future of Toowoomba's CBD? The facts are, this may well be a reality!! We already have "The Vault" and numbers of sex shops lurking around our CBD.
You currently have an opportunity to have your say. I love Toowoomba, I love it's family friendly environment. Toowoomba is a small city and the CBD is something that can't be avoided. Let's give the local government, that we elected, to decide what goes where in Toowoomba. Not some bureaucrat in the Office of Liquor Gaming Regulation.
Toowoomba city members including Trevor Watts MP, will be submitting a petition on the 14/10/2014 addressed to, The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland, on which there are currently 709 signatures. This petition is to request an amendment to who has final say on where adult entertainment industries can set up shop.
Please consider the future planning of Toowoomba.
