Fellow Greetings,
School Chaplains may very well be shown the door.
We are currently looking for stories, pictures, testimonies from Chaplains, people that work with Chaplains or anyone that has contact with Chaplains in general including family and friends.
The Chaplaincy program has been at the centre of a dispute orchestrated by Ron Williams through a series of legal challenges. It is highly likely that his efforts will continue by again challenging the legitimacy of this program.
Here are a few links to news articles relating to the recent changes:

We are looking to put together a series of small stories (100 - 150 words each) so that everyday people get to actually see and read about the great things chaplains do for the kids in our schools. It will work to educate, provide awareness and understanding to parents and the general public who may have developed a unrealistic opinion about the Chaplaincy program.
Particular points of interest:
- Why Chaplains are important
- The many roles that Chaplains fill
- The training of the chaplains to provide and offer support
- The positive effects Chaplains bring to the school and students
You may post your stories here either anonymously or by leaving your name attached. They will then be added to social media for public viewing. Please be aware that any posts submitted will be edited if necessary and chosen on merit.
Please do not provide sensitive information as the stories will be compiled for viewing in a public setting
