The downing of MH17 Malaysian airplane is such a tragedy and has made me realise how vulnerable we are to the the malacious intent of others.
My ignorance but I never realised that a plane could be shot down from such a height...
But the greater tragedy has been what has happened on the ground.
Not allowing access to the site, the looting, the pictures of wearing what they have looted.. these images are ingrained in my mind and make me sick.
But I was reading an article in SKY news this morning and the final paragraph indicated that I haven't been the only one that was affected.
"On Saturday in Canberra, the St Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox church held a public memorial service for the victims of MH17, which was attended by foreign dignitaries including the Netherlands ambassador to Australia, Annemieke Ruigrok.
