This is interesting to be on the forum from scratch and I am sure you are learning heaps as the moderator.
But ultimately, what is it you wish to achieve with it? What do you see for it? Who will be the intended audience for it? Most forums have a central thread tying them together.. collectors, cooking, etc.
Is this family/friends?
It would be a "safer" haven than FB? Where comments etc are confined to members of the group rather than to the wider world?
I like the name of the forum "Tether", for if it is family/friends it is so apt.. we are tethered together by those ties.
